Love Came Down :: A Dayspring Review.

I am so excited to share my thoughts on some of Dayspring's beautiful Christmas products with you dear ones.  I adore how (in)courage does their (in)spired deals!

There was a slight mix-up and I ended up with something unexpectedly different but here is the lovely thing...all of it is delightful!

I loved opening my box and finding so many gorgeous things.

Dayspring introduced a new line this year called Love Came Down which I find so wonderfully appropriate as we celebrate the birth of our Savior.

This gorgeous tablerunner.  The color is stunning.  A deep red with gold accents on one side and a beautiful linen color with the words Love Came Down on the other.  Since I just moved into my apartment a little over a month ago I don't have a dining room table yet...but I cannot wait to use it next year!  It will be lovely.

The delightful trio of tealight candle holders are a beautiful frosted glass with the words Brightest hope (my favorite!), Jesus, and Purest Love. 

This is the first year I will have my own Christmas tree and I am putting it up this weekend and I am so excited to put the gorgeous Love Came Down ornament on it!  It is simple yet means so much.

I think my favorite thing in the box was the Advent tabletop devotional.  (and it's only $5.99!)  I could not resist flipping through the pages and I teared up several times as I read of His promises fulfilled.  The last 2 months have been a beautiful reminder for me as He has fulfilled promises to me.  So to have this devotional to look at each day and remember the amazing God we have and the promises He has fulfilled...especially the one that is Jesus.  It's a gift.

Sigh.

Isn't Christmas grand.

When I saw what Dayspring and (in)courage were offering for April's inspired deals I immediately wanted to participate.

Why?

Because Dayspring had been tweeting photos from the brand new Redeemed line and I wanted every single thing they tweeted a photo of.

The line is unique and nostalgic.  

I chose to review the wallet and make-up because when I saw them...they reminded me of my Memaw.  The patchwork, the simplicity of the clasp, it all works together to make a beautiful vintage looking design.

The wallet is a great size and so roomy inside...and the detail on the outside and the inside just makes it all the more special!  It truly reminds me of something my Memaw would have loved and carried in her purse.  So when I take it out of my handbag to purchase something I just smile and for a moment the sweet memories of her rush back.  It is very room on the inside with space for everything!  And the back.... has a reminder that you are treasured!

The make-up bag is just as fabulous as the wallet!  It is just the right size and so roomy.  Plus...it's just as pretty inside as out.  It also has the reminder that you are truly beautiful.... and the things inside that bag?  They have no bearing on true beauty.... that is something you already have.  The bottom is made of soft faux leather so it will stand up to a lot of use.  

One of my most favorite things about this line is why it was designed...and the verse that goes with it...

The word redeemed resonates so deeply within my heart.  The idea of how we have been redeemed.  How His great love redeemed us all.  It's such a beautiful thing and I am so glad Dayspring has made this collection as a beautiful reminder.

When I went to look at the (in)spired deals section of dayspring...I immediately fell into like with this....

Adorable apron!

I was so thrilled to come home from work one day and see a dayspring box leaning against the back door.  I immediately opened it and was delighted to see the apron in the box!  

Y'all.

I cannot tell you how cute this apron is.

The stripes.

The ruffles.

The ever blessed, ever grateful saying.

It ties at the neck and waist. (if you are short you understand why I liked this!)

It is wonderfully made and all the little details make it special.

I have not used my apron yet.  I am saving it to use on Thanksgiving morning when my family breaks its normal traditional day and instead of spending the morning cooking and preparing for our family dinner.... we will be cooking and serving a Thanksgiving meal to those in our small community who otherwise would not have a dinner that day. 

It makes me tear up to think that there are people in my small community that would not be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with their family.  Times are really tough for so many right now.

I am so blessed.  Truthfully I am probably overly-blessed.  So to be able to serve in some small way... it makes my heart grateful.

So on Thanksgiving morning I will get up earlier than usual, slip on my apron, and serve others.  I will be the His hands.  I will be His feet.

I will be ever blessed. I will be ever greateful.  I cannot wait!

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.  Psalm 126:3

Everyday Faith Cross and a GIVEAWAY!

I am so excited to share with you today...about a beautiful (in)courage product I received...and I get to give something away!  :o)

When (in)courage offered the chance to review one of their many beautiful products I jumped at the opportunity.  I have a wish list of things from the Dayspring store...especially the (in)courage section!

I have been a fan of Jennifer from Studio JRU for a while.  Her crosses and other artwork are gorgeous.  So I choose to receive and review this beautiful cross.  (You can see the rest of Jennifer's (in)courage items here.)  I have been looking at her crosses for awhile but this one, called Everyday Faith has been a favorite.  The color is gorgeous.  When I opened the box and saw it in person I was so delighted.  I immediately put it on my favorite bedroom wall.  The cross is wonderfully made and you can tell it is handmade...which to me makes it all the more special.  It is sturdy and looks amazing on the wall.  I love the uniqueness!

 

The wall I put my cross on contains gifts from others that remind me of something.  Each one special and beautiful.  I love that I get to pair those special things together and I get to see them every day.

The cross Jennifer created has words on it that remind me of goodness.  Words such as family, blessings, grace, friends, heart, joy, love, remember...and several others.  Things have been tough as of late and when I look at the cross on my wall...I am reminded of beauty.  Of love.  Of blessings.  I am thrilled that this beautiful piece of art gets to hang on my wall and remind me there is beauty to come even when my heart is so weary.

The Beauty of You at (in)courage

 

A few months ago I wrote something kind of different from what I usually write....I was not sure what to do with it so I shared it with a dear friend for editing and she encouraged me to submit it somewhere.  I then shared it with another sweet friend and she encouraged me to sumbit it too....so I thought of (in)courage's daily guest and decided to see what happened... it ended up getting selected for the month of January and today is the day it goes live on the site!
