Hi Lovelies!
I don't know about you but I am spending my time watching every Olympic sport I can. It pretty much takes over my life for two weeks. I am not really a sports person but when the Olympics come...I am a fanatic. (The only other sport I do this with...baseball...my Braves of course!) I guess you could say I am Olympics Obsessed. (I am thinking of starting a support group... want to join) My tumblr and favorite tweets proves without a doubt I am a fan of these games!
It is also in one of my most favorite cities. London is everything you want a city to be so seeing glimpses of it and other parts of England make my heart happy...and my wanderlust kick in.
I must say if you are not watching you are missing out on some amazing stuff.
Night 4 is definitely my most favorite!
The women's gymnastics team final was amazing... I cried and I cheered. Those Fab 5...I want to put them in my pocket and keep them.
Although the scrunchies and weird barrettes should go.
The grace and poise the USA girls showed was beautiful. And seeing their emotions...the fear, the happiness. It was amazing to watch. Jordyn Wieber has proved she has the heart of a champion...I just wish NBC would stop showing the footage from Sunday night. We would have all reacted the same way when a dream was crushed.
I was also thrilled the Romania team won the bronze. A piece of my heart will always belong to Romania and one day I will see the country with my own eyes.
The swimming is my other favorite.... I mean hot guys (how can one not appreciate Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte?!)...and some amazing races. It's a win win! Seeing these girls and guys living out their dreams. It makes my heart happy. Plus Phelps has long been a favorite so to see him make history...EPIC!
Of course the lady who interviews the swimmers after the races...she needs to go!
I have also been having fun chatting on twitter about the games.
One of the best things has been watching these parents as their children achieve their dreams.
Also...I have learned some British slang this week...my favorite being brolly for umbrella. We need to bring these words over here.
So...are YOU watching the games? What are your thoughts so far?

I have decided to do my prayer series in October. So if you are interested in guest posting you can read the details here!
Also I am looking for more opportunities for prayer bombs.... you can read about those here.

I am still looking for more clients for Delighted Designs...so if you are looking for a new header or something creative for your blog...email me!
Hope you are having a wonderful week Lovelies!
I like the Olympics, but I'm not super obsessed with it ... getting a bit bored of swimming every. single. evening. for example. Also, not to ruin your fun, but I do wish the Olympians would put on a tracksuit before they're interviewed/on camera/etc. There are some things that this girl does not want to see and I wish they'd stop making things harder!
In other news, Go Team GB!! #ourgreatestteam :-)

I adore watching the parents watch their children compete! It makes me laugh & warms my heart. The pressure!
You know I adore the Olympics. And the swimmers. And... Lochte. ;-)

Hey Christy -
I am an Olympics addict as well... but I also love sports all through the year. :-D However, the Olympics are my only chance to cheer like crazy for sports like Water Polo, Beach Volleyball, Rowing, and Ping-pong. :-D
I agree about the women doing the swimming interviews. I know she's doing her job, but its just awkward.
I am very interested in talking to you about a new header coming into this fall/winter... but to be honest, it's roughly 100 on my to-do list, so it may be awhile before I get to talking to you about it.
