For the year of 2011 I thought from time to time I might change You Choose up a little.
Sometimes I am going to show you the photo and have you provide a quote...sometimes I will provide the quote and ask you to share a url for a graphic! I will usually do it as usual though :o)
For January....I am going to show you the photo I am using and you get to share a quote in the comments that you think would fit the photo!
I will then choose the quote I think fits the photo and....whalala!
January's wallpaper!
Here is the photo:
Now it is your turn! Leave a quote in the comments!
Wallpaper will debut on Monday :o)
In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.

Whenever I see the sun poking through the darkness I always think of Jesus declaring "I am the light of the world."

This one is probably too long but I l.o.v.e it:
"There is a privacy about it which no other season gives you ….. In spring, summer and fall people sort of have an open season on each other; only in the winter, in the country, can you have longer, quiet stretches when you can savor belonging to yourself."
-Ruth Stout

I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.
Isaiah 42: 16

Stillness:
I love this quote Jenifer shared in her recent post at the cafe, but I also love what Wanda shared in the comments.
“We have to learn the lesson of not doing–of keeping quiet for Him. We have to learn that if God does not move we dare not move. When we have learned this, then it is that He can safely send us forth to speak for Him.”--Watchman Nee

Love the picture. I have two quote options. " Words which do not give the light of Christ increase the darkness." Mother Teresa and
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. Martin Luther King, Jr.

How about:
"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is not yet come. We only have today. Let us begin." Mother Teresa

I don't have a profound quote, but this makes me think of Jesus speaking to the water with the disciples
"Peace be still"
This photo is so peaceful! Hopefully you will get a better submission! Happy New Year!!
