I am not a fan of resolutions....I guess maybe always hearing the word and associating it with peoples failed attempts of the year....well it sort of makes the word, well, negative.
So I started calling things I wanted to try to accomplish in the New Year....Hopes. I hope I can accomplish certain things in the upcoming year but if I don't it is okay...it takes the pressure off I suppose while giving me goals to set and work toward. :o)
Today's question....
What is one of your hopes for the year 2011?
See you in the comments!
My hopes: Love more. Fear less. Simplify.

My hope for this year is to learn more of who I am and who God created me to be.

My hopes for 2011?
Write more, evaluate myself less, more date nights with the hubby, and enjoy the now. Good question!

YAY for Tucker being home and in your arms. You have NO worries about being a fabulous Mommy my friend. You are going to rock that job. You already have the most important thing...LOVE!

Kela...I hope along with you for finishing out that weight loss goal... YOU GO GIRL!
Messy. I adore that. That gives me something to think on. I know you and your family are going to have an amazing messy year. :o)

I like the word goal...it means working toward something and I like that lots. Balance it good...and a great goal for busy people like you :o)

And You can list as many hopes as you want! I LOVE hearing them!

I ditched the word "resolution" years ago. I doesn't fit me.
I do have hopes in the weight loss area (finishing out my goal).
On things eternal (our family's mission): Messy. to touch "messy" like Jesus did and wants us to do. No one is beyond being loved in Jesus' Name.

Don't call mine resolutions either - they're goals. My "real" list will be on my blog on the 1st, but my overarching hope is BALANCE. :)

Well, let us start simply: I hope for a better year. ILH.
But specifically: to complete my 365 photo project. I'm aiming for every day, but even the majority of this year's days will be awesome for a photo book!

I just realized you ask for a hope, not a list. Sorry for the overkill!

My hopes:
Learn how to cook
Get healthy
Meet more people
Read one book a week
Meet Jesus again
Revamp my blog

Does the Hope Grant give you a book allowance? Some grants do! :)

I hope to start attending floral classes at some point in 2011. :o) It is a hope as well as a dream. The classes would be paid for by something called the Hope Grant. Now just to find some money for those crazy expensive books!
