The purpose of Word filled Wednesday is to share God’s word (no famous quotes or other literature — only the beautiful word of our Father) through photo’s & a Bible verse!

I love spring.
The flowers, the trees budding, the sunshine, the rain showers....the smell.
My favorite spring smell has to be wisteria.
In the late afternoon you can go outside and sit and be enveloped by the sweet smell of the gorgeous purple hanging flowers.
Even as a little girl I loved it. I remember my Memaw finding me a wisteria bush or something like it because I loved it so much.
So I chose this verse from 2 Corinthians today. To remind you of the beautiful fragrance of Christ you have. Isn't the Message version of this verse so beautiful. A perpetual victor parade.....with us spreading the fragrance of Christ....the fragrance redolent with life. Gorgeous.
This is my last time hosting WFW and I wanted to leave you a reminder of how wonderful all of you are. Many different things factored into my decision but I know it is the right one...but it is bittersweet as I have come to so enjoy seeing each of your names once a month and visiting your beautiful WFW posts.
Your aroma is so wonderful and what you do every week with WFW is spreading the fragrance of Christ far and wide across the interwebs. You are a blessing to others and to me! Thank You for letting me a small part of your lives each month.
Blessings,
Beautiful flowers and verse. Thanks for being a great host to WFW and best wishes for you new endeavors.

Mine is freesia. That is such a powerful verse. I desire that so much. I can see it in your writing. You leave a lingering scent of Him when you write. Thanks, Christy.

So sad you will not be hosting anymore. :-( But on a more positive note: what a wonderful WFW to end with! The scent of the wisteria bush is one that has always made me giddy and happy and feel like jumping for joy - as we all should feel at times in the presence of God.
God bless you and hope to see you again sometime on the WFW via an occasional participation.

Great verse. Reminds me of bringing flowers to my grandmother so that she could smell spring. Sometimes we must take the fragrance of Christ to the people because they can't get to Him.

Ohhh, I love Wisteria!!! And this year, with my allergies and sinus infection, I have to avoid them. So this is a special treat! And coupled with that uplifting Bible verse, your Word-Filled Wednesday is definitely an extra blessing today! :)
We will miss your hostessing, but pray that God will bless you in the directions He is leading you in. Thank you again for having done it for so long. :)

Wonderful WFW! I once wrote a post based on this passage titled, "What Do You Smell Like?" at http://bornagainandblessed.blogspot.com/2009/11/what-do-you-smell-like.html .
