After I wrote this post I found the photo above and knew it was a perfect illustration. So this week I knew I had to pair the photo and verse. It's a timely reminder for me. Sometimes I get very impatient but I have learned the good things; the really, really good things I hope for....are worth the patience. Because not only when I wait my hopes are being fulfilled....they are being fulfilled in His perfect timing...and there is nothing better than His timing!

I love the verse that promises a blessing in waiting...God waits to bless us not to punish us.

I love the image - it is a representation of waiting patiently. This verse from Romans spoke to me several years ago while I was going through a difficult time. It brought much comfort to me.

Wow, Christy! First, one of my fav. verses! I love Romans and this verse God spoke to me about 11 years ago when I was waiting for something (although feeling discouraged at the time)! I love the part of the passage that says, "Who hopes for what he already has?" HOPE.....changed my whole attitude around!
AND....what a beautiful image. It totally captures the attitude of HOW we wait...patiently.
