I read this quote a few months ago and was immediately drawn to it. Since then when I feel the darkness threatening to overwhelm me....it has become my prayer.
The darkness is heavy and consuming. It is full of pain. We all hate going there but at times it is just too much and before we know it...there seems to be no light.
I abhor that feeling.
So in the last few weeks when I feel it encroaching...I pray that quote...and I think of all the wonderful things that surround me. My family and friends. You, dear Peaches...books, my cat...music. Things that remind me of love.
That is why I had to put those little colorful reminders in that graphic. As a beautiful reminder. Even in the darkness....there is Light.
Wondrous Light.
Oh Christy! I'm so glad I popped on over here after receiving your wonderful comment on my post for today. This quote has BLOWN. ME. AWAY! I am going to keep this close! I know that with my current situation the darkness within, and without, will be trying to speak to me. I want to shine the light so badly! Speaking of shining...let me know if there are any aspects of single living that you are planning on writing about for Exemplify. Now that I am officially "single", I'd love to write something.

Wow...there are certain times that I'm totally freaked out by God's Living Word...and how what I'm working and meditating on just seems to POP up everywhere. Thank you for this quote!!
