Making a Difference Monday :: She Dances

I featured a small blurb about She Dances a few months ago... I started following them on twitter, facebook, and I have watched this video:

And then last week Daley Hake wrote this post on his blog.  It moved me and it woke me up to myself and how selfish I am sometimes.

This is the vision of She Dances:

The Vision

Every girl deserves to dream. Every girl deserves hope. Every girl deserves to love and to be loved. Every girl deserves to dance. When she dances she is alive… when she dances she is free. She's free to live, to laugh, to love. She's free in her heart… she's free in her spirit. Hope moves within her… beauty finds her. She Dances.

• Our heartbeat… To see freedom in the lives of the 27 million people in our world today that are held as slaves.
• Our cry… To believe in the future and hope of the 800,000 girls who are trafficked across international borders each year for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
• Our passion… To seek a haven for a child who is one of the estimated 1.2 million children trafficked each year.
• Our prayer… To create a movement of response to injustice in our world within artists, musicians, organizations, churches, and every breathing soul.
• Our vision… To show love turned into action and then freedom.

I am so impressed with what this organization wants to do.  But they need help!  So I am passing on the word to you.  And I hope you pass it own to others.  

Because as I am learning we CAN make a difference....we just have to take that first step and get involved.

I did get involved last week and I will continue to get involved.  Because He has called me to. 

I am answering that call.
