Making A Difference Monday

So.

After my post last Monday I started thinking.  Here I have this boggy that has the potential to reach a lot of people...so what can I do?  And it occurred to me that I could start highlight people and organizations that make a difference.  So Monday's at CrittyJoy are now going to be Making A Difference Monday's.  I hope you will take the time to visit the organizations I highlight and pray for them and their ministries.  Also from time to time I hope to have special guest bloggers telling about their personally ministries...that's the plan anyway :)  I want to not only challenge you, my readers, but myself to get out there and see what I can do...because not doing nothing is just not working of me any more.

So for this week's making a difference I thought I would highlight two more ministries that are making a difference in the Human trafficking industry.

The A21 Campaign

Their strategy is to:

The A21 Campaign is comprised of individuals, organizations, government officials and people like you that are committed to abolishing injustice in the 21st Century. Our goal is to raise awareness, take legal action and offer rehabilitation services to rescued victims of human trafficking in order to fight this injustice from a comprehensive approach.
Our initial response to the injustice of human trafficking is focused in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece - with the long-term intent of venturing into other areas of Europe where there is a need. We are determined to start making significant difference in a country that the UN says is one of the highest ranking destinations for human trafficking.
In preparation for this project, we have conducted extensive research on human trafficking by visiting the onsite locations of shelters, rehabilitation centers, legal advocacy offices, issue awareness agencies, as well as high-density brothel areas. We have also met with key members of different anti-trafficking organizations located in Cambodia, Greece, Holland, The UK, and The U.S. to discuss best practices and the most effective models for rescuing and restoring victims. Through our research, we have developed a model that will not only rescue and restore victims - but also fight this battle from a legal perspective and pull this injustice out by its roots.  (taken directly from their website)

The second ministry was one I found while doing some research last week and then I saw a button on someone's blog (edited to add...the blog was Love is Greater Than) and was even more curious.

These are just two ways you can make a difference...and it can be as simple as fasting one day a month...
